Ban Fighting in the NHL ??? WTF?
How are these players going to make any money. You can't pay millions of dollars to people if you don't have the revenue. And how else are you gonna generate revenue without fights? By playing hockey ??
Bettman seems like a bit of an idiot. It's obvious to me it's all about the money. Who cares about anything else. And I wonder if he could explaiun to me exactly where fighting has it's place in a hockey game. Exactly how does this benefit the game or the way that it is played ???
Read the CBC article and pay attention to the comments. There are some doozies that make a lot of sense. Like this little gem from jafo.journal… "I'd fight to sell tickets to a ban on Bettman. I'd bet there'd be better attended better hockey."
Enjoy.

McDonalds in Hanover sucks
Well it was all good until I asked for O.J. $2.50 for OJ! What the hell? Okay, so since when does 'To Go' mean u put it on a tray? Okay, I'll just mention it's to go when you shove the tray at me. !ut then she looks at me like I have 2 heads because I want it to go. She asked me in the first place. I told her it was to go.
So that 0was over and so off I go to vehicle to enjoy my sausage mcmuffin brekky. Oh great, it's a sauage mcmuffin with egg. NOT great. Oh well, just eat it and don't complain. Sit in the car and watch a little one run from mom to go into the 'Playland' and almost become a bumper sticker!
EVER HEAR OF SPEED BUMPS RONALD? You have them at most of your locations but not at this one, where there are lots of kids.
This is my 2nd crappy experience at this McBarfs in the past month. The last time I had to drive back from 10 k away to get the parts of the order they forgot to give me.
It's a good thing I didn't stop at a Timmy's for my morning coffee on the way to Hanover. Then the whole trip likely would have sucked...

Angry flight attendant charged with setting fire on plane
his work route smuggled a lighter aboard an airplane and set
a fire in a bathroom, forcing an emergency landing,
authorities said Thursday.
Eder Rojas, 19, appeared in court Thursday, following his
arrest a day earlier in Minneapolis, and was ordered held
without bail, prosecutors said. The charge of setting fire
aboard a civil aircraft carries a maximum penalty of 20
years in prison.
Court documents said Rojas, of the Twin Cities suburb of
Woodbury, told authorities he was upset at the airline for
making him work the route. He is accused of taking a lighter
with him through the security checkpoint, authorities said.
"Rojas further stated that he was preparing his cart to
serve the passengers, he set the cart up, went back to the
lavatory and reached in with his right hand and lit the
paper towels with the lighter," court documents said.
