No jail time for Lafleur   A Montreal judge has given hockey legend Guy Lafleur a suspended   sentence, sparing him from serving time in jail or under house   arrest. Lafleur will have to pay a $100 fine and donate $10,000 to   charity as punishment for providing contradictory evidence at his son's bail hearing

Mother accused of dumping children, 3 and 7, off Oregon bridge. The mother of a three-year-old boy whose body was pulled from an Oregon river hours before daybreak on Saturday was arrested and accused of dumping the boy and her seven-year-old daughter off a bridge.
